La invitación de boda para esta pareja se desarrolló a partir del hecho de que ambos novios adoran Sevilla (lugar de la boda), son grandes fans de Harry Potter y que, de algún modo, quería reflejar ambas ideas en su invitación. De ahí surge esta variante del Mapa del Merodeador protagonizada por las murallas y edificios emblemáticos de la ciudad como alternativa a Hogwarts. Por sabia sugerencia de la novia, el diseño se aleja de la reproducción literal del Mapa del Merodeador, con un código de colores original, tintas plateadas y un desplegable interior que supone una pieza aislada del desplegable exterior. Para la ilustración y los iconos interiores, en cambio, me aproximé lo máximo posible al trazo del mapa original.
This wedding invitation was developed from the fact that the couple just love Seville (place of the wedding), they are huge fans of Harry Potter and that they somehow wanted to reflect both ideas in their invitation. Hence this variant of the Marauder's Map, starring the city's emblematic walls and buildings as some sort of Hogwarts II. At the bride's wise suggestion, the design departs from a literal reproduction of the original Map, with an original color code, silver inks, and an interior foldout that is an isolated piece from the outer foldout. For the illustration and the interior icons, on the other hand, I got as close as possible to the style of the original map.
